• Malekula

Malekula is a part of the country where groups of people in some of its more inaccessible regions retain strong elements of kastom (traditional culture). Two such groups are the Big and Small Nambas (named from the size of their penis wrappers), who occupied the north and south parts respectively. South West Bay, where we land, is a small remote area covering a number of small villages along the coast. Options available are village stays, cultural sites, snorkeling, local garden and lagoon tours by outrigger canoe.
